The Sana’ani Gingerbread House

I have mentioned Sana’a’s distinctive ‘gingerbread skyline’ several times over the past few months. Rachael and I thought it would be fun to make an actual gingerbread house, a la Sana’a.

And voila! We did.

Walls baked.

Rach adds frosting.

Front wall. Qamarias we made from cut up gumdrops.

Finishing touches.

Assembling…

Done!
